About Us
My name is Wanda Rossman and I have been dancing since age 4. I moved to Edenton , NC in 1985 and started teaching ballet in 1987. I trained in South Africa with the Royal Academy of Dancing and successfully passed numerous international exams. I have also been an adjudicator/judge for competitions. I love the classical aspect of ballet, but I am not limited to only teaching ballet and pointe; my dance education include several other dance forms. Although ballet is the foundation to all dance forms, I also teach lyrical, musical theater, tap, modern, and jazz. I studied Anatomy and Physiology with a focus on how to prevent and overcome injuries in dance class.
For a precious few students who choose to pursue a professional career in dance, it doesn’t preclude any child from experiencing the creativity, love of rhythm, movement to music, and the discipline of a dance class.
Fellow teacher Samantha Wagner (Jordan):
Sam will be teaching lyrical and contemporary. She has been dancing since age 2 training in ballet, tap, lyrical and contemporary dance styles. Over the years she developed a love for the technique based freeform of lyrical and contemporary and has been teaching for 4 years.
All her entries for dance competitions have placed in the top 10 or garnered awards.
