Dress code for class
-
Have your dance bag ready with all you need.

Put a smile on your face
-
Go to the restroom before class
-
Put your name on ALL your belongings in case of loss.

A small face towel in your dance bag comes in handy when needed.

A bottle of water
-
Thank your parents for bringing you to class
-
Thank your teacher for teaching you.
-
Use your inside voice.
-
Clean up after yourself
-
Do your chores at home
Ballet
-
Leotard- Sleeveless, short or long sleeve.
-
Color: I prefer black, but your color choice is fine.
-
Skirts attached to leotard for little ones are fine.
-
Skin tone/pink tights.
-
White socks during warm weather instead of tights
-
Ballet shoes-pink or skin tone. Full sole or split sole. NO black ballet shoes.

Keep in mind- canvas shoes are fine and inexpensive but they do not last long at all. By January they will be worn out)

Short dance skirts, leg warmers, and, warm-up attire if you choose.
Tap shoes
-
Black lace-up or buckle tap shoes. Split sole or full sole although the split sole is more comfortable to use.

Jazz/Lyrical/Modern
-
Tights, leggings, jazz pants or unitard.
-
Shorts of decent length.
-
Full camisole tops/body fitting tops/leotard
-
Shoes: jazz shoes, ballet or lyrical slippers. Performance shoes will be at the teacher’s discretion
Hair for all classes
-
Ponytail or a bun. Tied it up and/or tied it back. No loose hair.
